University education is tertiary level education resulting in the award of an educational degree known as a university degree. tertiary education, also known as post-secondary education or post-secondary vocational education, is a period of further study following completion of primary schooling.
It is generally a time during which students are given broad liberal arts and sciences subjects as well as liberal arts training courses for practical experience before moving onto their bachelor and master’s degrees. There are many types of tertiary courses, including the traditional liberal arts disciplines of science, mathematics, humanities, and social science; business, law, and management; health care; engineering, computer science, and communications; and physical sciences.
In recent years, there has been a growing need for university education and professionals, particularly those in the scientific and engineering fields, due to the growing need for highly educated workers in many scientific and engineering based industries.
