Due to the lower energy usage rate of split system, it is cheaper than having two separate compressors.

Meanwhile, evaporator coil and condenser are internal part of the air conditioner. These two are responsible in making cool air inside the room. The basic purpose of the evaporator coil is to absorb heat from the environment. Meanwhile, condenser collects the heat and transfers it into the air. When it comes to cooling needs, this two are still used together with other parts of the refrigerant to produce cool air in a more cost-efficient manner.
