However, there are many advantages in having a competent person perform this task. A person who is trained to carry out such assessments will be able to find any problems early, and take steps to address them. They may choose to remove the affected material to an alternate location, or they might warn you ahead of time that you will need to remove some of the water coming into your property. Having such information available in advance will allow you to make the necessary decisions, which in turn will help you to manage risks and protect your business and your customers.
